This program equips a student with a foundation of knowledge in science, humanities and related professional disciplines.

Curriculum is designed as a four year program: two years of prerequisite course work in general studies prior to two years of professional course work within the nursing program. Each prerequisite and nursing course must be completed with an approved grade.

The two years of nursing course work are full-time with lecture classes scheduled during the day, and clinical hours scheduled during day or stipulated times.
Core and essential parts of the program are thus emphasized to ensure students graduate with the appropriate skills.

Admission Requirements

i. SSSCE/WASSCE Credit in English Language,Mathematics, and Integrated Science,and Pass in the following three elective subjects:Biology,Chemistry,Physics,Mathematics and with aggregate 24 or better.

ii.Holders of SRN and Diploma in Nursing with three(3)years experience will be considered for top-up courses as follows:

i. SRN-Level 200

ii. Diploma Holders - Level 300

Admission Requirements

 SSSCE/WASSCE aggregate 24 or better with at least credit(D or C4,C5,C6) in English Language,Core Mathematics and Integrated Science and a Pass(E or D7,E8) in three elective subjects in either Science,Home Economics(Food & Nutrition), General Arts or Agriculture.
